I have a 81' 35 hp with a bad lower unit and good parts from a 93' lower unit. The only major difference I see is that the newer one has a longer pinion gear. Can I use the newer gear set with my old pinion?? How interchangeable are these parts?<br /><br />Thanks<br />Dave
