I have a old Johnson 3hp outboard motor, model # JW22C, Serial # E2750999. I need a set of rings and a head gasket.
Does anyone know where I can get parts?
Last, can you tell me what year the above motor is?

Thanks for any help.

Dan

Re: Johnson 3hp - Help

I get 1967 for both the JW-22 and the JH-22. I think they differ only in the leg.

For extended low speed operation use the Champion J6C. For high speed operation use the J4C. Gap either at .030 and gap the points at .020.

Fuel mix is 50:1.

I think all that is what Bubbakat meant, just mixed the model numbers.
