Johnson 40HP 2 stroke model number

Hello all. I recently purchased boat with Johnson on the back that the identification tag is completely unreadable. All I can locate is the serial number which is G3760053. I've done some research and all I can find is that the G possibly means it was built at the Georgia plant. I will attach some pictures and hopefully someone can help identify the model. Thank you

Graphics are not original.----It is at least a 1989 or newer.----You have to install a new water pump impeller.----Post picture of top of driveshaft.----89 to 92 were small spline and 93 and newer were a bigger spline.----Lower units on these are not robust.----Use the best oil you can find at a boat shop !
