Hey im new on this site.
I just got a 1972ish with a johnson 50 horse. The problem is the lower unit is cracked. will not hold any gear lube. so i have taken out all the gears and i need a lower unit casing. Where would i start to get one that is empty and how much money am i looking at for that? i have the model number to the lower unit and i'm gesing that will help but have no idea what to do now. can any one help?
