I have just acquired a Johnson LDL-13M 5hp to replace my stolen 30 year old Crescent 3.9hp. Can anyone tell me the correct oil/gas fuel mix? Also, the engine came without a fuel tank and the relevant attachments. Is the fuel pipe connector for the LDL-13M a standard type? My old Crescent had a little on board fuel tank so external tanks are new to me!

I dont belive anyone would steal one of those old Crescent 3.9s.

Anyhow the LDL-13 is a 1968 model and will run on 50:1.

Not sure about the connector. Different part number to my later 6hp!

Willsmarine in Kingsbridge are good for spares. Try them. Google will locate for you.

Remember this one is watercooled the Crescent was air cooled. No running except in water. Worth replacing pump impeller!

I have a LDL 10S 1965 motor. My parts manual gives a part number of 376156 for the fuel hose connector. The manual calls it a connector housing assembly.Run mine on 50:1.I get 2lt per hour at 3/4 throttle pushing 1800kg of boat.
