I recently picked up a Johnson 6 hp to "tinker with" and I am trying to locate the year so I can get a few parts. Where can I find the model number. It's presumed to be a late 80's possibly early 90's engine. So far there is nothing on the transom bracket, under the cowl, on the block or anywhere else I can see. I've spent an hour climbing all over this thing but I can find a thing. Anybody have any ideas as where to look. I've tried all the obvious places..<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Nav
