I have a a 69 6hp johnson
I changed the coils on it cause it had a spark only on one cylinder
now it has a good spark on both cylinders but it does not have any power it runs on max 1500-2000 rpm
now the thing that i cant understand when i start it (it starts great) it works for 5-6 seconds like it should on full rpm and then it just drops rapidly and than runs on the 1500-2000 rpm

my friend told me that it could be the carb that its not geting enough fuel but how do i fix that

have in mind that i am in serbia and its i big problem to get any parts for these old motors so DIY solutions that do not include changing parts

Your carburator may need to be cleaned and re-built. You will need some new parts for this job. Mainly a carb "kit". Also you can check the filter on the fuel pump, it may be dirty and also check the fuel lines for cracks and loose clamps all the way back to the tank.
