Johnson 70Hp acelarated itself in neutral

I installed new cables Tele flex from I-boats and the engine start at normal RPM and them start to get in high RPM whithout do anything to the shifter. I try to adjust the cable, but since to not work properly. What can I do?

Can you post picture of your linkage at the carbs?
Why did you replace cables? It sounds like you either installed the cables wrong, or your carb linkage is off or loose.
If you undo your cables, move the linkage by hand and see if the throttle linkage is moving. Sometimes installing cables is hard, and it takes patient to get it right. If you can post pictures we can help.
