hi all can i hook up a tacho and if what wires to i run to the motor thanx karl

Ya' got battery charging karl? You'll need this to hook up a permanent tacho. If not sure, post the model number.<br /><br />If its remote start with the key on the dash, look for a gray wire. That's the tach signal lead. Use a lead from the ignition (purple) and a ground will get the tacho going.<br /><br />If a side mount control box, you might have a tach plug at the bottom of the box just below the key switch.<br /><br />Let us know...thanks.

If you don't have a charging system you can use a tiny tach. They work great. www.tinytach.com

thanx for that yes its a key on the dash so do i hook both the gray and the purple to the tach il have a look at it today karl

hi the other thing im tring to do is to get it to idl is ther a screw to do that job on the control box it has just one lever for that moves back for cold starts i think so as its running if i move to far back it cuts out can you help thanx karl
