Johnson 9.9 Throttle (fine tune)

Hello guys,
I recently bought a 1995 Johnson 9.9hp kicker motor. I had the carb rebuilt and the lower unit serviced. I bought a OMC control off E Bay and everything works ok. We are very happy with the motor so far. Except we use this motor for trolling and the throttle control is difficult to control speed. Is there a better way to fine tune the throttle?

Look at the end of your twist grip control, there should be a small knob on the end to fine tune.
