Hi everyone,
I can't get the above engine to turn over. On cleaning contacts etc. at the 6-socket connector, I accidently put a screwdriver across the two middle sockets, and the engine turned over perfectly. So the solenoid, starter etc., are O.K., and now I need to get into the key switch ( I have cleaned the 6 outer connections), and the 6-pin connector. Can these be opened up to check and clean? By the way , I checked the neutral switch and believe it's O.K.

qwick test ...

have a buddy hold the key on START while you wiggle twist prod the cabling if you gat a reaction on the selenoid/starter you may have a bad connection , bad wire etc...
and if you have a volt meter check the selenoid control post for 12v
wiggle the neutral switch by moving the shifter back and forth .
