johnson cables

what is the best thing to use on steering cables on a johnson motor. and what type of grease do you use on the grease fittings around the motor of a 9.9 johnson . thanks.

it depends on the type of boat the are going on. ezy guide stick steering, i have on my 14' alum open fisherman. if it has a console for a steering wheel, i recommend teleflex. as far as motor shifter,throttle,wiring harness, use johnson.
