How do you remove the Carborator on a outboard Johnson engine that was built in the 70's?

lolleypat, I probably will not be able to help, but I suggest adding the model number and serial number of the motor. Without the specifics, no one can guess at which way your carb(s) mount. Also it will give you the basic information so you can get a repair manual. The manual will give you step by step instructions on how to troubleshoot, repair and rebuild your motor. The Ken Cok Company has Johnson repair manuals. After market repair manuals are available from a bunch of places including amazon.com, ebay, your local bookstore, library, etc.
