Clanton...I believe it is a company called <br />"Outboard Jets", located in San Leandro, California. Parts are available...marine stores around here carry parts and I would imagine your boating stores would also...just a Thought
Outboard Jets (actually the company is Jet Drive Specialty Manufacturing) makes the jet-style lower units for the outboard motors.<br /><br />The company that made the Turbo Jet stuff for OMC went bankrupt many many moons ago. If you're looking for parts, most of the Turbo Jet stock was bought by www.turbojetmarineproducts.com - try there for propulsion components, or try your local JohnnyRude dealer for powerhead stuff.<br /><br />-John
Thanks all. Just what I was looking for John from Illinois. My grandson is looking at a 94 model Rage I can handle the engine parts, but did not want to get stuck with a boat and no power. You are right the parts are pricey, looks like about 2000.00 for geardrive and pump.
Thanks again all, water tested a 1995 Four Winns Fling, with 115 crossflow Johnson and jetpump, will belong to family tomorrow. I was able to find out everything I need. What a toy.
I have a factory service manual for the 1993 Turbo Jet 90-115 HP's. In excellent conditon. $15.00. Should have the parts catalog also for $6.00. <br />We closed our dealership and still have many parts and service manuals for Johnson & Evinrude.<br />Email: linda@nu-z.net
