johnson fuel pump

bought a fuel pump rebuild kit for my johnson 62 seahorse 10. it is the little square one, but I can't remember how it goes back together can anyone help me with pictures or drawings? :confused:

Hi ya' gain....I agree with Jb....a service manual is the way to go. But the service manual for yer engine don't give the fuel pump breakdown ya' need. The pump your working on is the latest supercede pump. If you got a generic kit for the pump, it probably won't have the instructions for rebuilding. The OEM kits all have instruction sheets for this. If all else fails, the latest part number for the pump is 388685. Set ya' back about $48. The OEM rebuild kit is PN 393088. $12.18 American.<br /><br />Good Luck!

Gain, checkout Ebay there's several on there right now that will fit your engine, about 15 bucks.
