I have my grandfather’s outboard Johnson sea horse, it’s been stored in a clean dry storage area for 25 years, it was oiled and has not been used since then but was working at the time. I believe it is from around 1953 made in Illinois.
I would like to find out it’s value and do not know where to look, I am hoping some one can lead me in the right direction.

Based on what I see them going for in my area Cape Cod Ma not running it’s basically a parts motor maybe worth $50.
If it’s a good runner maybe $250 on a good day.

Very much a case of what someone will pay.. It could sell for $50, it could sell for $200. Depends on if the fisherman or kid that just needs a boat motor for his jon boat/ row boat, or the collector is the person standing in front of you..
