Had my lower unit kick out of forward while powering under a heavy load. Figured it was about to quit a couple of weeks ago when it started slipping on me.
Anyway, got the lower unit off, got the bearing assembly and snap rings out but now I need to know what size the pinion nut is? The book calls for a special wrench but it looks like a thin 15/16" or 7/8" might fit it. Don't have a lot of space due to the clutch being in the way.
Anyone know the answer to this?
