Johnson Lower units

I currently have a 1965 18hp and a 1972 25hp, could I use lower unit off of either of them and put it on a 1975 50hp motor? Assuming the 50hp is a short shaft like my two motors..thanks for any info In advance.

A simple 'no, they are not compatible' would have sufficed. He probably asked because he didn't know.
