Help i have a 60 Hp Johnson outboard w/ hydro-electric drive that is stuck in forward<br /> what could be causing it the motor runs great but the motor wont got into neutral or reverse any information i can get would greatly help and keep me from BLOWING UP the BOAT and MOTOR<br /><br />also would like to find a schmetic for the motor and for the cntrol box <br />like i said it is a Hydro-Electric Drive <br />i havent been able to find out any information on the control box or how to fix the motor<br /><br />HELP Pleeeeeeeeeeze <br /><br />you can e-mail me at nascar@zoominternet.net

Do a search here or look back a month or three. There have been many discussions about how to fix the problem. Many switch schematics, be sure you use only the correct Evinrude lower unit oil for electric shift, and other posts about this problem. There is even a schematic for hooking up a switch because the one in the remote is no longe available. I thought Frankie from the Land Down Under was going to put all the information on a webpage somewhere. Believe me; there are many posts on this puppy.
