Prop selection is a compromise like selecting a single gear in a car to do everything.
I can tell you the base prop when new was a 17" pitch.Unfortunately the final selection would depend on what boat the motor was put on. A boat likely to run with just a couple of people would very likely have a different prop than the same boat that usually had the hole family and a dog aboard.Then there is the boat, size,weight,and design. Slickcraft probably made a bunch of different sizes and
styles.
The best way to do this is to read "read this first" at the top of the prop forum.Get us as much info as possible.
It would be very helpful to have a base line performance present wide open throttle rpm and speed.
With the numbers we can tell better if the present setup is working and what prop might solve any problems.
