johnson raw water pump leaking 5.7 part number 10-24228-1.

Same thing happened 7 years ago, water started leaking around the shaft and I replaced it with a new one. Can I just buy a rebuild kit and fix the leak?

Might want to check the Johnson web site and see if they have repair parts for it.

cool, got it. Has anyone done this and is it an easy rebuild? Did a quick internet search and could not find info on this exact rebuild and how effective the rebuild is for water leak.
