johnson sea horse 5 1/2

just bought a johnson sea horse 5 1/2. model# cd185. serial # 2208615. can any one tell me any information on this engine, year, mixture ratio, ect.? also i took it to the lake it ran pretty well once it warmed up but it will not run on very low speeds any thoughts? also any infromation on the settings of the 2 knobs to set the fuel richness/leaness any idea where these should be. any information would be very helpful
