johnson seahorse 35hp remote throttle questions

i have just bought a 1976 johnson seahorse 35 hp on a 16' v bottom but some one has stole the remote throttle and shifting control. so I'm looking into gettin a johnson ship master control. but my question is can I use one with the 479 cable mounts in control box on a 1976 motor? if so what do I need to get if anything to make it work?
