Hey all, long time silent reader. I was just wondering what the worth of a practically mint Johnson Seahorse 3hp JW-16? would be today.

It matches this one on ebay, however it has two controls for low and fast speeds rather than one. Obviously 3.5k is crazytalk. This one has a little more wear, but all the smudge wipes off easily.

Awesome old motor. Still looks good for being 60 years old.

It's not particularly collectable, so a Johnson guy probably already has one. If a guy wants a cheap kicker, he'll look for cheep, so he won't pay much.

I agree with 150-200.

If someone is willing to pay 3500, they can come to my house and I'll offer a few dozen more for sale......LOL.
