Hi i own a 25hp seahorse 25R72R and have removed the inner exhaust to find it is very corroded.
Should this tube be blanked at the end with the gases going out of the small holes drilled in the side of the tube, as mine has a hole straight down the centre and i am not sure if this is how it should be or the bottom of my exhaust tube has corroded away
hope i have explained this correctly
many thanks in advance
Dave

Do not block that tube. It is a "tuning tube" that has a straight thru shot for the exhaust flow.

Should be open. The holes in the side of the inner exhaust were a modification made to relieve back pressure subject to service bulletin # 1282.
