johnson shuts off

I have a 1998-115 60 degree engine that won't stay running, shuts off in less than 1 minute.

Things I have done:

Replaced the powerpack.
rebuilt the carbs.
Switched to external fuel tank with pre-mix and clear hose.
Disconnected VRO harness.
disconnected the temperature sensors.

While running it looks the pump is not picking up fuel but squeezing the primer bulb doesn't help, the motor still dies. Pulled the drain plugs from the carbs after dieing, the carbs are full.

Does this motor have a kill circuit that might be triggering because of the VRO or something else? Does the ignition rely on a pulse from the VRO for continue running? Maybe,'Crasping at straws'...

Subscribed to Seloc manuals, they %^&*(, the wiring diagrams are NOT complete.

Does anyone have a clue?

Thanks in advance.

Did you check the spark when it stalls? If you choke it just before it stalls will it pick up and run? Sounds like fuel or spark problem.

High temp will kill spark to 1/2 the motor. Sounds like you need to see if the motor has spark on all 4 cylinders, when it quits. Only one temp senser with the two wires kills the spark.

There are no other spark killing features on that motor.
