Johnson/Suzuki Controls/Cables

Wondering if I can use generic, Suzuki or Johnson control and cables on this motor? Are all the control cables basically the same? Any opinions on the Suzkui vs. Johnson control? I have the Johnson version of this motor.

cables, use johnson cables.
