Johnson V4 Carburetor Adjustment

I'm rebuilding the carburetors on my Johnson 115 horsepower V four and I noticed that my carburetors have absolutely no spots to adjust them. If I look in the manual there is one of adjustment screw but that location on mine is covered with one of those lead plugs. Does that mean there's no way to adjust the carburetor?

Non-adjustable carbs on V-4 are very common. Can't be sure without a model number.....
