A friend gave me a 115 Johnson outboard motor and he said that the just shut off and he couldn't get it to start. The model is: 11SESL70D

What do I check first to make the engine start. It seem to be a nice engine and it clean and no oil outside the engine. Is it a nice engine or do I need to junk it.
