Jon boat carpet

I'd like to carpet my jon boat. It has aluminum floors. Whats the best way to do this? I'm not sure if outdoor carpet adhesive sticks well to aluminum. Thanks

Section it out and just glue the edges. Spray adhesive from an aeresol can works. Get a garpet that doesn't snag fish hooks.
