Can any of you recommend a good cushioned boat seat at $50 or less? I see some different ones for sell i.e. Wise and Attwood. Bass Pro Shops also have some. My brother and I will need a seat that looks decent but also will support more than 250 lbs.

Go to the big sporting goods/hunting/fishing stores and try on some their seats, then watch for a deal on Flea-bay or C-List in your area. Not hard to find, but you have to figure out what you want by trial/error. I saw surplus, overstock boat seats of all types on sale at G-der Mountain last week...50% off would've been about $25.

You can get cup/tool holders that mount on those too. They're very handy. They just screw into the bottom of the seat frame.

For $40 they are hard to beat and way more comfortable than alot of WAY more expensive seats that I sat on. I was trying to stay under $75/seat and the guy at Cabelas set every seat up for in that range and those seats won hands down. Got 2 on sale with swivels for $80

You almost have to sit in them to determine the right seat for you. The review section when you shop online is really helpful. I think I sat in everyone under $75 that Cabelas offered and the one I mentioned earlier was the best. Some were just plain terrible or made so poorly that you couldn't lean back in them.
