hey guys been a while since i been here , thx 4 all ur help last time , i did get my boat bk runnin a its runnin good prob was sum jack *** filled my gas tank with water but got that fixed , i have a nother qustion ..... is there water supposed to b comming out of the sides of the lower unit were it bolts up to the engine? n will this cause me to lose hp ?

thx again , yea found out is normal i jus hadnt notised it b4 i thought there was a gasget there lol no harm no fowl ... u know any thang about spartan 220 gear oil n if it can b used in a 115 v4 outboard jus woundering i can get it readily if it can b used , i know its a thicker oil but would b cheaper than the johnson/evinrude brand 4 seasonal gear oil changes, again jus woundering.thanks alot 4 ur quick reply hag1.
