I don't think there is anything wrong but I was curious. Is it normal for the port side of an outboard to run cooler or hotter than the starboard side? I was doing some wireing on my boat this afternoon and I started the boat to let it run a few minutes since I haven't ran it in a while. I noticed my lazer heat sensor in my tool box and just for fun thought I would check the temperature of the heads. As it was warming up the starboard side seemed to stay about 25 to 30 degrees hotter than the port side. After about 10 minutes of running the temperatures leveled off the starboard side was reading 135 degrees and the port side 110 to 115 is this common?
