Greetings,
Question #1, Does water pump impeller replacement always include other part other than just the impeller; Gaskets, pump housings, miscellaneous plates etc. or can you just replace the impeller?
Question #2, I don't live in an area that is heavy on the boating side; where is the best place to purchase pump impellers? I have heard you can putchase these parts at NAPA auto parts stores.
Question #3, What are your experiences using SeaFoam Deep Creep for Decarbing an engine? Does it work as well as the stuff Mercury sells?
Thanks for your help,
Bohunter......

most places sell just the impeller.online is about the same price as my local napa ..they have impellers ,t-stat and tune-up parts...
I have used the seafoam in small engines like weedeaters and backpack blowers (i am a stihl and john deere mechanic) it works well ,but it blows carbon some where so be prepared it ... also will try to flood the engine and foul the plugs but it does clean out the carbon ..then put in plugs when done..hope this helped ya..

Have you ever put new line on a reel and then noticed that you did'nt run the line through the face of the reel. Me too. My reason for this comment is to remind you to put the fingers of the water pump in the right direction. The shaft turns clock wise. Friendly reminder, I goofed twice.
