I just wanted to say thanks for the help yall have offered to me, and let yall know I truely appreciate the time you have taken to respond to my questions. I don't know much about boats, I am an Electrcian; but maybe if I hang around long enough I might learn a thing or two, so thanks for the free lessons.

Hey, I know everything BUT electrics. A+ in Auto shop years ago, and D- Electric shop. We all have something to give in return here. ;)

If you'd like to 'repay' the forum, scan the "Non-Boating Technical Topics" section. I'm sure on occasion you'll find posts about electrical issues questions where iBoaters would really appreciate your input.

awwwww heck, I can't resist. Electricity 101: 1st Rule: When troubleshooting a welding machine, NEVER test with your two fingers, an input connection for looseness when 460 3 phase is still connected. Had a "senior moment"... :D

Wotknot -- and you can still type without stuttering -- fantastic. That kind of shot can raise havoc with the nervous system.
