as 'the season' begins.. check your fire extinguser an 'outta date' flares & smokers.. also go over & replenish old an used up first aid products... nothin' worst than a soggy asprin..also replace any emergentcy batteries AA ,C,D'S

Thanks, Crab. Now that you remind me, I do think my flares and signal kit is out of date. Rather find it out now than when it's needed offshore.

Got my new flares today and checked my extinguisher (A-ok).. Cleaned out my junk box and added a few goodies.. (tools, tape, wire ties, hose clamps, ect) First aid's good to go.. Checked life jackets, all good.. (P.S. give your life jackets a squirt of lysol or something if they smell funky... <br /><br />Boat got washed and got a good "goin over" this past weekend..<br /><br />Ready..

thats good SNAPPER.. also i want to say,, not only 'check' the fire extingisher .. but take it in your hands an SHAKE IT.. shake it up good.. thats one of the main problems with them... all the good stuff settles down to the bottom...
