It has a 2004 mercury 2 stroke (3 cyl) and found out the voltage regulator is bad, dealer says my serial # say's it's a jet drive ??? NOT! The part # they said i need is a voltage/ regulator kit but it does not look like the part i pulled off. What i pulled off looks like the part they had in stock, but i was told that is not what manufacturer say's ???
