A close family friend of ours was diagnosed w/ parkinson's and unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. He was going to start working on restoring a 15' 1956 crestliner voyager and was unable to do much with it. Long story short, I ended up buying the boat from him, and needless to say there is some sentimental value to it. I have restored several boats over the last few years and from anywhere from 14' to 30'....... this one I have to admit I am excited about and plan on going the extra mile with. Its hull integrity is in EXCELLENT condition, there is only a few very small dings and dents up top (I can count on one hand) and believe it or not minus a few scuffs the winshield in in great conditon. I think its a neat little boat and its one I plan on fixing up and keeping around. I would just like to get in touch with a few people that either have or are familiar with these boats and their original design. It will be used for fishing, and I do want some of the modern niceities within it. I just hope to find a balance in between. I will get some pics put up this weekend, and would appreciate any input through out the process.
