Don't forget to join the Stingray Boat Owner's Club. You can register on their website when you know the boat's serial number. Lot of good info there, plus you can get a lot of good advice from others who own the same boat.
We custom ordered our Stingray and personally worked with the factory to get the color patern we wanted and some non-standard options. At our request, they even shipped an extra roll of matching bootstipe tape so we could make repairs in the future if needed. That was 1984 and the old girl is still going strong. We have the oldes boat in the SBOC database.
In 2007 our son bought a 220 cuddy and ordered it in much the same way. He just loves that boat. This summer one of the seats developed a tear and even though it was well out of warranty Stingray shipped him a brand new matching seat at no charge.
Periodically, they have a factory open house just for Club members. They provide a plant tour, followed by rides in all of their production models at a local lake. Hotel accommodations, al food and transportation is proided free of charge. All you have to do is get to the local hotel!
They are a fine company to do business with. You'll love the boat!
