Just purchased a boat that is in Connecticut moving it to Florida

Hello all,
I just purchased a 33.5 Hunter sloop rigged sailboat that is currently on the hard in Connecticut. I have a home in Florida that I will be retiring to in August. I currently reside in Texas. When I purchased the boat on the 23rd of the month, I paid Florida sales tax on it. How and when do I register the boat in Florida.

I guess you don't have to register the boat in Florida until 1) you establish residency there and/or 2) the boat is floating in Florida as it's primary state. While it's dry docked or trailered, I'm assuming that it doesn't actually need to be registered. That's the way it would be here in TN. You can read more HERE.
