I posted these pics in the outboard forum and thought it would interest some of you also.
It sure is a nice feeling having back-up power especially when on the Great Lakes. Took some weight shifting to get an even keel, batteries in front, fuel tanks on the port side.

the reason you had trouble getting an even keel was becuase of that rogue catfish you are carrying around...

Oh man that catfish! It was my maiden voyage with the kicker and I figured may as wall rig up a line and try some trolling speeds, so I put on the biggest lure I had, it was a triple hook double jointed big liped diving plug, the lure was running about 12' in 25FOW and that catfish grabbed it, never would have guessed.

West Branch! funny thing is last weekend we were out nightfishing for cats using crawlers on the bottom and I caught a little 20" musky, I go out fishing for musky and catch a catfish.
