One week before christmas a man called me, and after a few questions said I was his half brother. Adopted at birth. After a lot of research and phone calls, we are getting a DNA to verify this.

Clanton, very intriguing indeed....... I have a half brother but we have known each other since 1965 but we did not grow up together .... we are absolutely alike (I am better looking )

There are probably more half siblings out there in the world than we can begin to count. Lots of Dad's messed around unknow...

Exact same thing happened to my wife's uncle. Half brother called out of the blue, they met after the call and sadly the half brother passed away shortly thereafter.

Great, hope you become friends and enjoy each others' company.

My brother-in-law and his ex-girlfriend had a son almost 40 years ago, only he never knew it.
They had broken up, he moved to California, she had the child and gave him up for adoption.
30 years later he ran into his ex, and she told him about the baby.
2 years ago them made contact through an adoption service.

He's a great guy, had a great adoptive family, has a great family of his own, and lives only 20 miles from my BIL.
