Kad 300

I have just bought a new boat with twin Volvo Kad 300's, its my first diesel boat having always owned outboards before. In my last boat I had a fuel flow meter which gave very accurate fuel usage. I am hoping to install something similar in the new boat but was hoping there would be a way to get this data from the engine management. I came across this

Will it work with my engine? I have the edc contols.

I can't tell you if it will work or not. I have installed them on newer EVC systems (also EDC) but before spending that kind of money, I would be visiting my local VP dealer and finding out for sure. A quick phone call by a local dealer to Volvo, can answer you questions very easily, quickly and positively.
