Yes Ralph that is fun, but the easiest way to get rid of them is to, "Move the lines" :p

Use one of these on the lines, with the top side toward the boat. You should be able to get one at any wild bird feeding store. Make sure you get large diameter.

I know, same as a pie tin, but this looks better and won't make noise in the wind.

Hey Ralph,

I love your solution, but wouldn't it be costly replacing all those lines all the time, when the bullets go thru the rodent, then thru your lines?

Kenny

A beer can, free to rotate on the line, is very effective as well.

Best mouse trap around is a 5 gallon bucket, half full of water, with a ramp built up it, and a beer can strung accross the top with a glob of peanut butter on the can. Works every time.

Plywoodys' got the right idea. Anything on the rope that will rotate will spin them off into the drink.

I've used the can and bucket set up in cabins left vacant for periods of time. However, I put antifreeze (RV type) in the bucket. That way the dead rodents don't stink up the place.

Hey KennyKenCan, now that is what real Gun Control is, you have to line up your shot to where it knocks them off the line, Not go through the line.

Just one of GodsBeast's

And not into the next boat or the people on the dock. Points deducted for all infractions.
