I have a 1992 Johnson 140hp, and the tach needle jumps a lot and only works sometimes. Sometimes when I jiggle the key the tach starts working again, so I know its a wiring issue at the keypad. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the keypad (not sure if they're standard or not). Any other ideas? Could the key not be fitting in well enough and its affecting the power to the tach?
