Keypass Password Safe

Anybody use Keypass to manage their acccounts, passwords and websites that you log on to?

I have used it for a year a so, just storing account/password. Just started using the the function to auto populate the account fields on the web pages - Sweet!

Since this is pretty much "Everything in one basket", just wondering if anyone knows if it it adequately secure, especially since it is open source? It appears to be quite secure.

I use Password Safe which is also open source. You should be find with Keypass. Your passwords are kept in a file secured by strong encryption.

Don't worry about it being open source. I'd rather have a lock that's hard to defeat even though the blueprints are available than a lock that may only rely on the obscurity of it's mechanism.

been using autofill and keychain on my Macs for several, maybe 4 years
