My son has gone on a spring break trip to Keystone, Colorado. Snow skiing is a new experience for him, would be for me too if I were to go. Any memebers out there know anything about this area? Just curious if I could get some info other than whats on the net. I believe he's staying in West Keystone Resort area.

Been there dun that Its a truely beautiful area. There are about 4 ski resort within 25 miles. Keystone, Breckenridge, A-Baison, and Copper Mountain. Given your sons abilty he should be fine at keystone. Very mild runs there. Yes they have some Steep and Deep but not as many as the other. Hes probly going to want to travel to breckenridge every night for night life... Dont fall into the snow banks. Its a great little town any type of food you want there. There is a mexican resurant there I think the name is Me Casa.... Just eating there again would be worth the 20 mile trip from his hotel. there are many bars and Eating areas on the mountain it self. Very Expensive. But there is one burger hut on the back side of the mountain that is great. Live music Good drinks but its a pain in the knees and the back to get to. You must to a mogel run to get to it. If i remember correct there should be hot tubs on each floor of his hotel that are out side. Hmmmm Good memories. They are great for a few drinks and laughs after a hard day of hitting the slopes. If yo have any more Question Please post them on here

Adam

Skiuseme is correct - it's a beautiful area. If you ever get a chance to go it will be worth it just for the scenery. You might check out your local bookstore and look for ski magazines or ski resort guides. I usually get in at least one week a year but spend it at nearby Winter Park. All of the big money resorts are in Summit County and it does get pricey - if I recall correctly burgers were going for 14.00 dollars last time I was at Vail
