Kicker bracket Mounting

I am going to install a kicker bracket(for a 9.8)..I just have a few questions about it, if someone would be so kind as to help.<br /><br />1.Should I use a backing plate inside the transom?<br /><br />2. Stainless or galvanized nuts and bolts?<br /><br />3.What do I use to seal it all up tight, so no water gets into the holes, transom etc. ?<br /><br />Ty in advance for the help

in order...<br /><br />#1.if you can yes, but it is not 100% neccesary<br /><br />#2.yes. and use some form of never-seize on the threads<br /><br />#3.3m makes a whole slew of products for this, the most popular is 5200, although some prefer 4200 cause its not as much a pain in the keester to work with<br /><br />m ikey
