Other than overall quality and weight/horsepower rating, what's the difference between the brackets that go from 75-125 dollar range and the ones that start above 250 and go up from there.
I have a Tohatsu Sail Pro 6, weighing in around 60 pounds. It's a 4 stroke. The leg length is more than long enough, when the unit is mounted directly to the transon, but it positions the motor too close to the boat, the tiller handle will not fold completely down as it hits the seat back I need to position the motor 8 to 10 inches farther away from the boat.
