Kicker motor for a 1993 stingray 501zp

I was wondering if there is anyway to mount a kicker motor (less than 20hp) to a 501zp? This boat does not have a flat transom and I have seen a couple of really old posts on other sites where people have used a special mounting bracket to mount the motor. My concern is that the only place to mount a bracket is into the fiberglass. Does anyone know what type of bracket I would need? Is it even safe to mount a kicker to this boat?
